Dietitian Roles
As a leading aged care service provider, Nutrition Professionals Australia (NPA) provides dietetic services to Aged Care Homes and community clients across Australia. We are currently seeking expressions of interest from enthusiastic Dietitians to provide dietetic services to a number of care homes in Adelaide and rural South Australia. The position includes providing individual assessments and recommendations, communicating with key stakeholders within the care homes, conducting menu reviews and providing training.
Food service experience and experience completing menu and mealtime assessments is preferable.
You will have the flexibility to manage your own workload and choose desired days/hours to work during the week.
We are looking for someone who is:
- Innovative and has an enthusiastic approach
- An excellent communicator
- Able to manage a caseload independently using high level organisation and time management skills
- Experienced in providing services to Aged Care Homes
- Available to travel to rural areas
- Keen to learn and develop dietetic skills and knowledge in the aged are setting
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that customers of NPA are provided with timely and efficient services
- Consult with key stakeholders on site to ensure optimal care for the residents
- Provide effective nutrition services in line with best practice
- Provide nutrition education sessions to nursing and food services staff
- Ensure excellent communication and regular reporting to Clinical Manager
- Work with other team members to ensure optimal outcomes for our clients
Essential Criteria:
- Full APD status
- Current Driverā€™s License and own transport
- ABN and a Pty Ltd Company (NPA can provide some (limited) adviceĀ about what is involved)
- Professional Indemnity Insurance to $10m
- Current flu andĀ Covid vaccinations
- Current National Police Check
